Together, We Are Rebuilders
Community Revitalization Program
The Community Revitalization program supports repairs to safe and welcoming spaces for communities to gather, such as community centers, schools, other non-profits, supportive housing facilities, and outdoor community spaces. Through this program, we’re able to maximize our investment in communities beyond housing, focusing our repair and rehab work in targeted neighborhoods to support safe, healthy, and thriving communities.
To qualify for Community Revitalization assistance:
- Facility must be located within our service area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties).
- Applicant must own the building for which they are applying or have a long-term lease with permission from landlord for volunteer-delivered repairs and have insurance for the property.
- Applicant must be a qualified 501(c)(3) as determined by the IRS and provide a copy of the facility’s current budget.
- Applicant must serve the low-income community by providing housing, educational or social services, or by serving as a free community gathering place.
After you complete the application, please fax it to 612-767-8578 or mail it to:

Corporate Volunteer Days
Participating in Corporate Volunteer Days is a great way to highlight your company’s positive influence in the community through direct service to our clients. Corporate partners work alongside our Program Team by sponsoring project(s) and providing volunteers to complete the work. Typically, volunteers are performing landscaping, painting, and flooring project work for our clients or other partnering organizations and give no more than 8 hours of their time on any dedicated date. Step up as a leader in the industry by aligning your brand with community health, sustainable housing, and the creation of generational wealth!
Rebuilding Days
Rebuilding days are historic to our organization, and they embody the spirit of who we are: neighbors helping neighbors. Since many home repair needs are difficult to address with a single volunteer or skilled contractor, we tackle repairs that need more hands, such as ripping up carpet and installing laminate flooring, building ramps and installing exterior handrails, and adding a fresh coat of paint on the interior or exterior of a home during Rebuilding Day events. Typically, volunteers are split up at various locations to provide services to multiple homeowners living nearby.
