ditech Works to Revitalize Saint Paul

On October 13th, we were thrilled to partner with ditech for our first collaborative project – making improvements to Rivoli Bluff in Saint Paul!

Rivoli Bluff is a new development that will have a mixture of low-income and moderate-income homes when completed. The development will also have amenities such as a community garden and orchards, and a bike path that will serve as a focal point for the living experience of all of the future homeowners. This project will also supply food through Urban Roots for community meals, food shelves and local families. The Rivoli Bluff project is being developed by the Dayton’s Bluff Neighborhood Association and East Side Neighborhood Development Corporation. The garden and orchard area is being constructed through a partnership between Rebuilding Together Twin Cities and Urban Roots, and is an important component of the continued efforts to revitalize Dayton’s Bluff and the East Side neighborhoods in Saint Paul.

Volunteers from ditech began work on what will become community gardens and orchards by removing existing vegetation, installing a metal garden fence, building an equipment shed with a rain collection system and installing drainage tile. Thank you to all of the wonderful volunteers and to ditech for their partnership!
