Wells Fargo Build Season Kicks Off

We are thrilled to be partnering with Wells Fargo again this year to help families in need in the Twin Cities!

We kicked off our collaboration this month with two project days at the home of a homeowner in Little Canada.  Over the next couple of months, we will assist six low-income homeowners with the repairs and accessibility modifications needed for their homes to be safe and healthy with the support of Wells Fargo and the hard work of their volunteers.

We are very grateful to Wells Fargo for their continued commitment to supporting our work to ensure that low-income homeowners can remain in their own homes and neighborhoods!

Wells Fargo Gives Back

We would like to send a special thank you to Wells Fargo, who has provided extensive volunteer support and funding to complete repairs for low-income homeowners in the Twin Cities.  We have been partnering with Wells Fargo since 2009.  Since that time, 995 volunteers have given 7,443 hours of service, and Wells Fargo has donated $460,000 to support our work in the Twin Cities community.

Wells Fargo Helps Several Families in Need

We are thrilled to be partnering with Wells Fargo again this year to help families in need in the Twin Cities!

This month, volunteers from Wells Fargo helped three homeowners in need.  One of the homeowners we helped is Katrina, a grandmother who lives in North Minneapolis.  Katrina was worried about several repairs needed to ensure her home was safe for her grandchild.  Volunteers from Wells Fargo built a staircase, installed new flooring and trim in her kitchen, and repainted her front entryway.

We are very grateful to Wells Fargo for their continued commitment to supporting our work to ensure that low-income homeowners can remain in their own homes and neighborhoods!

Wells Fargo and Rebuilding Together Partner to Help Small Businesses!

Small business is a big deal in Minneapolis. It is important to the business owners, their customers, and the neighborhoods in which they’re located. The Wells Fargo Works for Small Business®: Neighborhood Renovation Program Contest is about helping small businesses thrive. Wells Fargo and Rebuilding Together Twin Cities, along with a team from MSR Design, recently renovated four small businesses in designated economic development focus areas in Minneapolis.

Hope and Healing Family Counseling, LLC was the Grand Prize winner of the Wells Fargo Works for Small Business Contest. Rebuilding Together Twin Cities and employee volunteers from Wells Fargo enhanced this important small business by turning the office’s unfinished space into three new therapy rooms and building an accessible and ADA-approved entryway.

Three additional finalists also received assistance with renovations: Mississippi Mushrooms, Ibrahim Restaurant, and Wendy’s House of SOUL.  To read more about this program and the winners, please click here.  Congratulations to all four small businesses and thank you to Wells Fargo for supporting their work!
