Thanks to Travelers!

We would like to give a huge thanks to Travelers for their support of our work in the Twin Cities.  On August 10th, they held the Seventh Annual Travelers LDP Charity Golf Scramble at the Dellwood Hills Golf Club.  Travelers raised more than $48,500 that will enable us to help more homeowners in need.  This would not be possible without the hard work of the LDP planning committee and the continued support of the Travelers community.  Thank you again to Travelers, the LDP planning committee and everyone who participated in this event!

Moving On: AmeriCorps Term of Service Ends

Over the last year, Rebuilding Together Twin Cities was fortunate to have Chris Lyle and Kyle Sharp serve as AmeriCorps Project Coordinators and Fitzie Heimdahl serve as an AmeriCorps VISTA with us.  Their terms of service ended last month, and we would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication.

Thank you to Chris, Kyle and Fitzie for your hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm over the last year.  Best of luck with this next chapter of your lives!

United Healthcare Military & Veterans Help Former Marine and His Family

On August 11th, we partnered with 60 volunteers from United Healthcare Military & Veterans to provide much-needed repairs for Jason, a former Marine and Active Minnesota National Guard Member, and his family in Oak Park Heights.  Volunteers spent the day rebuilding portions of a deck, repairing and painting the garage, removing brush and mulch, cleaning siding, and repairing and painting the family’s barn.

With the support of JG Hause Construction and skilled volunteers, we also plan to replace six windows, fix other windows within the home and fix the sinking sidewalk at the front entrance.

Thank you to United Healthcare Military & Veterans for your continued partnership and support of our efforts to help military families and veterans in need in our community!
