Rebuilding Together Minnesota is committed to respecting the privacy of its volunteers and its financial and in-kind donors, whether the donation is made online, by mail, or any other method. When you make a time, financial or in-kind donation, you provide your name and contact information. Financial donors provide standard payment information including, in many circumstances, credit card data. We protect your information in a variety of ways, as described below.

We use industry standard safeguards to protect your information. Many donors use credit cards for donations. We protect the security of credit card transactions using a number of measures such as encryption, access controls, network firewalls, physical security through using sites such as Square, GiveMN and Network for Good, to process credit card transactions.

We will not sell, share or trade our volunteers’ or our donors’ personal information with any other entity. In addition, we will not send mailings to our volunteers or our donors on behalf of other organizations, unless a donor has given us specific permission to do so.

Rebuilding Together Minnesota has vendors that assist with processing and managing volunteer data, and donations and donor data. On occasion we give these vendors access to volunteer and donor data, and they are bound by strict confidentiality rules.

SMS Privacy Policy:

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages, you consent to receive SMS (Short Message Service) communications from Rebuilding Together. These messages may include reminders, updates, and important notifications from staff.

  • Message Frequency: The frequency of messages may vary depending on repair updates and communication needs.
  • Opting Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will
    no longer receive text messages from Rebuilding Together Minnesota unless you opt in again.
  • Support and Assistance: For help or additional information, you may reply “HELP” to any message or contact us directly.
  • Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Rebuilding Together is not responsible for
    any charges incurred by your use of SMS services.
  • Privacy: Your phone number and personal information will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
