Elena Fransen Joins our Staff

Please join us as we congratulate Elena Fransen on joining our staff! Over the past year, Elena served as our AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator, and she has accepted a temporary staff position of Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. Elena has a Bachelor of Arts from Marquette University, and is currently working on a Masters degree in urban and regional planning at the University of Minnesota Humphrey School. Before serving a year as our AmeriCorps Volunteer Coordinator, Elena spent five years in Wisconsin building her project management and volunteer engagement skills in corporate and nonprofit spaces. Elena is excited to continue to share her passion for community and connection through service to volunteers and clients. We are thrilled to have her join our staff!

Join our team and serve a year with us as an AmeriCorps member! Rebuilding Together CapacityCorps is a National Direct AmeriCorps program with AmeriCorps members serving 11 months at Rebuilding Together affiliates around the country. Members help improve the lives of their neighbors in need through hands-on home repairs and community outreach, while earning a living stipend and an education award to help with educational expenses.

We are hiring two AmeriCorps Project Coordinators and one AmeriCorps Volunteer Engagement Coordinator.

Members will earn a stipend of $16,000 and an Education Award of $6,345 upon completion of the term. The term starts on June 1, 2022.

Capacity building AmeriCorps members with Rebuilding Together Minnesota (also called CapacityCorps) will serve crucial roles in the Minneapolis/St. Paul region.
