Volunteer Appreciation Month

April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and we would like to take this opportunity to send a special thank you to all of our amazing volunteers.  While the COVID-19 pandemic has kept us from hosting large groups of community volunteers, we have continued to partner with volunteers on a limited basis. We are very grateful for the continued dedication and hard work of our ramp teams, office volunteers, Board members, committee members, and Chris Reiss, our volunteer Workforce Development Instructor.  We could not do what we do without all of you, and we look forward to being able to host volunteers on a larger scale again later this year!

Serve a Year with Us!

We are currently recruiting AmeriCorps members to serve a year with us!  Our AmeriCorps members play a critical role in delivering home repair and accessibility modification services to low-income residents in the Twin Cities.

During a 11-month AmeriCorps term, you’ll earn a living stipend of $15,500 and an Education Award upon completion of the term.  This program is a great opportunity to give back to the community, while earning an Education Award!

Thanks to The Opus Group!

We are thrilled to share that The Opus Group provided us with a grant to purchase a trailer specifically for our ramp teams.  This month, volunteers from the Honeywell Ramp Team outfitted the trailer to get it ready for our 2021 ramp season.  Thanks to The Opus Group for providing the funding for this critical equipment and to the HRVP Ramp Team for helping get the trailer ready to use!
