Congratulations to Volunteer Elliot Helmer!

We would like to congratulate Elliot Helmer, a regular volunteer and son of our Office Manager Silva, on his recent Eagle Scout project.  Elliot was able to donate more than 1,000 stuffed animals to the St. Paul Police department.  Officers will now be able to offer a stuffed animal to kids they come across during the course of their work.

Check out this article about Elliot’s project. The article appeared in newspapers (online and paper) and in a couple of radio markets in Atlanta, Boston, Jacksonville, Dayton, Duluth, Bimidji, and Grand Forks. Elliot was also mentioned in St. Paul Mayor Melvin Carter’s remarks for his State of the City address.  Congratulations Elliot!

Welcome CJ!

We are excited to welcome CJ to the Rebuilding Together Twin Cities Team!  CJ will be serving with our organization for a year through the AmeriCorps CapacityCorps program.  Most recently, CJ served as an AmeriCorps member through the National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) program, helping communities recover from disasters.
