2023 Hook, Line & Shelter Fishing Tournament

There are three classes of participation:

Once you complete the registration form, we’ll send you an official “Hook, Line & Shelter” tape measure and an email address where you will submit the record of your catch. Just take a picture of the fish you catch being measured, email the photo and information to the email provided. Your catch will be added to the leader board for your class and category. The leader board updates weekly.

All proceeds from the Hook, Line and Shelter Fishing Tournament will be used to help our neighbors in need to live in safe and healthy homes.

This tournament is run on the honor system. Please follow all Department of Natural Resources Fisheries rules and regulations as they pertain to your respective state or province. Adhere to safe boating guidelines and whenever possible, use catch-and-release fishing and good conservation methods to ensure our waterways stay healthy.

Tournament Submission Instructions

Pictures of fish can be sent to hooklineshelter@rtmn.org

Your email MUST include the following information:

  1. Tournament entry is the submission photo of fish next to the official tournament tape measure.
  2. Candid shots of the fishing experience (for use in social media and with our tournament partners)
  3. Full name (pronunciation of name for correct on-air mentions)
  4. Date, Address, Phone, Email and Location (lake/river) fish was caught
  5. Tournament Class you signed up for (Trophy, Weekender, or Youth).

Please note: By submitting photos, you agree to our Photography/Video Release (available here).

If you do not want to cover the payment processing costs, you will need to uncheck two (2) boxes at checkout.
