2021 Services Impact Hundreds

We are thrilled to share the impact we made last year with the support of people like you!

Together, we provided home repair services for 99 households and accessibility modifications for 60 households in the Twin Cities Metro. We also provided home repair services for three households and accessibility modifications for 19 households in Southwest Minnesota. In total, we served 250 low-income residents.

We engaged volunteers to add a community garden and make other improvements at the Rondo Commemorative Plaza, serving the many residents who live in that neighborhood. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we safely engaged 350 volunteers who gave their time to help our neighbors in need.

THANK YOU for supporting our work in 2021!

Welcome Donnie Brown to our Board of Directors!

We are thrilled to welcome Donnie Brown to our Board of Directors!  Donnie is the Owner and Managing Principal of Impactful Partners, LLC.

Donnie said, “I believe incremental changes to processes and systems can yield big impact for organizations, and utilization of simple stories and data points connects the community and donors beyond the organization’s mission statement.

I have spent 20+ years in the housing industry to include St Paul PHA, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS, and Housing First Minnesota Foundation. I enjoy opening the doors to opportunity through housing such as wealth creation by owning a home; public policy, engagement and leadership at local, state and national levels of housing; and sustainability which finds solutions to help families, individuals and seniors remain in their homes.

I work to travel. I have enjoyed travels to South Africa, Tanzania, Nigeria, and Cuba. I plan to build a home and retire in Africa. Skydiving is on my bucket list to achieve.

I am excited to serve on Rebuilding Together Minnesota’s board because of its work to repair homes which allows Minnesotans to get the help needed to stay in their homes.”

Please join us in welcoming Donnie to the Board of Directors!
