Charter Communications Assists St. Cloud Homeowner

On July 16th, we partnered with the St. Cloud Division of Charter Communications to repair Linda’s home in Waite Park. Linda is a single mother raising two twelve-year-old sons. Because of the disability she developed, Linda was forced to give up the job she loved as a daycare provider. Along with her disability, her son Kristopher has Tourette Syndrome, and her son Jonathan has learning disabilities.

Volunteers from Charter Communications spent the day installing new flooring and painting walls.  In addition, with financial support provided by Charter, we will repair plumbing and windows in the home later this month. Linda was amazed and extremely thankful for all of the work the volunteers completed.  The improvements made to the family’s home by volunteers will give Linda a safe and healthy home to raise her two children. Thank you Charter Communications!

Help Us Preserve Paul Bunyan’s Independence!

Richard, who spent his life traveling and telling the tall tales of Paul Bunyan, was in need of a ramp to help ensure he could remain independent after his upcoming knee and hip surgery. Because of the immediate need, volunteers from Rebuilding Together Twin Cities built a ramp for him. We need to raise $1,800 by August 1st to pay for the work that was done. Bike and Build Makes a Pit Stop in Saint Paul

We were excited to host a team of riders from Bike and Build on July 23rd!  Bike and Build has generously supported our work with grants in the past, but this is the first time we’ve hosted them as volunteers.  Riders worked on a ramp and other home repair projects on the East Side of Saint Paul.  Thank you to Bike and Build for partnering with us to preserve affordable homeownership!
