Calling All Project Managers!

Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is looking for experienced Project/Construction Managers to help run our project sites during the 2018 build season (approximately April – May). Duties include: planning work scopes and material deliveries from vendors to work sites; managing work flow and volunteers on site; troubleshooting technical problems; demonstrating how to perform specific tasks to volunteers; ensuring that the homeowner is satisfied with the repairs at the end of the work day; and relaying project day information back to Rebuilding Together staff.

Ideal candidates have a flexible schedule (weekdays normally), some previous history in carpentry and/or project management, and the ability to be flexible with changes in work scopes and/or project schedules. Rebuilding Together is offering a project stipend of up to $250 per project completed. If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please reach out to Jacob Ames at j.ames@rebuildingtogether-twincities.org or 651-776-4273 x 27.

Kickoff to Rebuild Was a Huge Success!

Thank you to everyone who came together to make the 23rd Annual Kickoff to Rebuild a huge success!  Volunteers revitalized four homes and a community center in the Bryant neighborhood of Minneapolis.  Council Members Elizabeth Glidden and Andrea Jenkins attended our reception the night before Kickoff to Rebuild and Mayor Jacob Frey and former NFL wide receiver Ryan Hoag visited the project sites.

Thank you to our lead sponsor Lowe’s Home Improvement and our sponsors CBRE, Bryant Neighborhood Association, Crystal Kitchen + Bath, MidCountry Bank, Minnesota Housing, Minneapolis Area Association of REALTORS, Pioneer Services, SPOKE612 Productions and Wells Fargo!
