Ramp Team Restores Homeowner’s Independence

Our Ramp Team recently constructed a ramp for Marge, who has problems with her knees and isn’t able to navigate even the smallest step.  As a result, she has not been able to leave her house for three years.  Thanks to the hard work of the Ramp Team, Marge can now go outside again, and she was truly overwhelmed by the help she received.  Thanks to our amazing Ramp Team for changing lives one ramp at a time!

Catholic Heart Workcamp Helps Several Families in Need

We’d like to send a special shout out the Catholic Heart Workcamp who volunteered with us this month.  The team painted three houses, including a mobile home where the person was going to be evicted if the home was not painted.  They also cleaned up a yard that was cited by the City, stained a ramp, and helped out in our warehouse.

The Team Leads, Jeff Hanel and Mary McLaren, wrote this in a note to us: “We had another great year. Thank you for all you do for our community and for allowing us to share in your mission.  God Bless you, your team, your volunteers, and all you serve!”  We look forward to partnering with you again next year!

Wells Fargo Continues to Help our Neighbors in Need

Thanks to Wells Fargo this month — they worked with a Minneapolis family over three project days by repairing drywall, cleaning, and repairing flooring.  We are extremely grateful for the support of Wells Fargo as we work to revitalize homes and neighborhoods in need!

Travelers Raises Money to Help Those in Need

Thank you to everyone who came together to make the 11th Annual Travelers LDP Charity Golf Scramble a success!  Every year, Travelers graciously puts on this golf tournament for Rebuilding Together Twin Cities. This tournament has a huge impact on our ability to serve more and more homeowners every year, transforming their lives and revitalizing neighborhoods one home at a time.

This year’s event was held on July 29th at StoneRidge Golf Club and raised more than $50,000 that will help ensure that our neighbors in need can live in safe and healthy homes.  Thank you to Travelers for supporting our work in the Twin Cities community!
