Ryan Karis (Previous Program Manager) Passed Away

We are very sad to share the news that Ryan Karis, who served as our Program Manager for several years before retiring in Summer 2020, passed away on January 15, 2022. Everyone who knew Ryan knows that he had a heart for service and for helping those in need.

His family set up a Caring Bridge site to keep everyone up-to-date on their plans and allow people to send them messages. The site is available at https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ryankaris.

The most recent message from the family thanked everyone for the outpouring of support and said they plan to have a virtual celebration of Ryan’s life on Saturday, February 5^th.

We will forever be grateful for Ryan’s passion, hard work, and dedication to helping those most in need in our community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Rebuilding Day in Worthington Was a Huge Success!

On September 9th, 35 volunteers came together to help three low-income homeowners in Worthington with much-needed repairs. The volunteers included seven members of the Worthington High School football team. One
