Staffing Updates

We are thrilled to share two exciting staffing changes here at Rebuilding Together Minnesota!

Tom Pfannenstiel, who previously served as our Special Projects Coordinator, has accepted the position of Safe at Home Manager.  In this position, Tom will manage our Safe at Home Program, which provides falls prevention and accessibility modifications for older adults and individuals living with a disability. He has over 38 years of administrative experience in the museum field, including project management, planning, finance, community engagement, staff supervision, and volunteer coordination. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree in History. He recently has received certificates of completion from The Shannon Leadership Institute and Neighborhood Leadership Program through the Wilder Foundation in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Chris Ryan, who previously served as our AmeriCorps Project Coordinator, has accepted the position of Project Manager.  As Project Manager, Chris will work with staff to plan and oversee projects throughout the year, which includes previewing homes; developing work scopes and budgets; ordering materials; preparing tools and materials for the project day; scheduling contracted services; and overseeing volunteers on project day. Chris owned his own construction business for more than 25 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.

Please join us in congratulating Tom and Chris on their new positions!
