Project Managers Needed!

Rebuilding Together Twin Cities is looking for experienced Project/Construction Managers to help run our project sites during the 2018 build season (approximately April – May). Duties include: planning workscope and material deliveries from vendors to work sites; managing work flow and volunteers on site; troubleshooting technical problems; demonstrating how to perform specific tasks to volunteers; ensuring that the homeowner is satisfied with the repairs at the end of the work day; and relaying project day information back to Rebuilding Together staff.

Ideal candidates have a flexible schedule (weekdays normally), some previous history in carpentry and/or project management, and the ability to be flexible with changes in workscope and/or project schedule. Rebuilding Together is offering a project stipend of up to $250 per project completed. Board Member Brian Frey Receives 2017 Better Communities Award

Congratulations to Rebuilding Together Twin Cities’ Board Member Brian Frey, who was recently recognized with the 2017 Better Communities Award from the Saint Paul Area Association of REALTORS for his work with Rebuilding Together!  Brian, a Realtor for Coldwell Banker Burnet, joined our Board of Directors in September 2012. His knowledge of the housing industry, fresh ideas, and passion are an invaluable asset to our organization.  Congratulations!

MidCountry Bank Donates $50,000 to Veteran Project Partnership with Rebuilding Together Twin Cities

MidCountry Bank has been a long-time partner of Rebuilding Together Twin Cities with contributions of time, talent and financial support reaching back over 12 years.  While our partnership is not new, the focus of Veteran projects is a first for MidCountry. As part of the partnership, MidCountry donated $50,000 to Rebuilding Together Twin Cities in December to support home repair projects benefitting Veteran homeowners in need.

Team members of MidCountry are eager to apply the company values of Compassion, Honesty, Integrity, Excellence, and Fairness to our joint project when it kicks off in the spring. We will work with MidCountry to identify a project site in the coming months. MidCountry will provide overall project management support, as well as over 400 hours of volunteer work to complete the tasks that will help make life for the selected Veteran better.
