Lutheran Social Service Hosts Successful Breakfast

The Team at the Lutheran Social Service Center for Changing Lives hosted our second annual fundraising breakfast in May, which was a HUGE success!

Mary Lundquist, who heads the kitchen at the Center for Changing Lives, did a fabulous job for our breakfast. She said, “We are in the business to serve the community.”

We are extremely grateful to Mary and the rest of the Team at LSS for their hard work and support!

Thanks to the Catholic Community Foundation!

We are happy to be a recent recipient of a grant from the Catholic Community Foundation that will support low-income seniors in our community. This grant was made possible by many donors – past and present – whose annual generosity and belief in the power of endowment has allowed Catholic Community Foundation to steward and grow endowment funds. These funds provide annual grants to meet the greatest needs in our community.

The Catholic Community Foundation, located in St. Paul, is the largest Catholic community foundation in the nation and is committed to supporting the spiritual, educational and social needs of our community.

Wells Fargo Build Season Kicks Off

We are thrilled to be partnering with Wells Fargo again this year to help families in need in the Twin Cities!

We kicked off our collaboration this month with two project days at the home of a homeowner in Little Canada.  Over the next couple of months, we will assist six low-income homeowners with the repairs and accessibility modifications needed for their homes to be safe and healthy with the support of Wells Fargo and the hard work of their volunteers.

We are very grateful to Wells Fargo for their continued commitment to supporting our work to ensure that low-income homeowners can remain in their own homes and neighborhoods!
